The day June 8, 2011, the class V E presented a play freely adapted from Barber of Seville by Gioacchino Rossini.
With this event the students end five years of primary school and greet teachers and classmates of the European Schools which have worked in this school year.

Finto Cake Recipe

Ingredients
450 g flour
130 g sugar
150 g lard
20 g fresh yeast
1 teaspoon fennel powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
100 g water

Preparation
Place the cup lard 3 min, temp 50.
Add all other ingredients, 6 speed, and 30 sec.
Finally spike speed to 5 minutes.
Let dough rise until it has doubled in size, tending small balls, brush with egg white and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake until they are cooked.

International Children's Day 2011

In Poland we celebrate International Children's Day. At our school (Szkoła Podstawowa nr 9, Dzierzoniów) we didn't have lessons on this day. Children could present their talents on this day. There was a stage and everyone who only wanted could sing, dance,... Later we could take part in sports activities in the school sports field.

Sericaia - Preparation

Put the fire to boil milk 7DL.
In a bowl add the egg with the sugar, zest of lemon peel, flour and milk. Then add the boiling milk to prepare the bud, causing the fire to encroach after taking care to move. When warm add the beaten egg whites very stiff.
Bake 170 degrees temperature for 20m.Last 20 minutes remove the dish from the oven and make the cuts, then bake for 10 minutes.
Accompany with plums of Elvas.

Do you know the fairy tale Pretty Ritty?
Pupils in class Theatre know this tale very well. And they perfomed it to all us with the help of their teacher Mª Felix Rodriguez.

What children think about eTwinning

At a regional workshop in Italy we made some interviews with a group of students who from some years has been participating in the eTwinning activities. In this video Severin, a student of Polish origin, talks about his experience and his emotions in meeting the Polish children. Other students are busy to make the work then will share with their European friends.

E-TWINNING PROJECTS

On the 5th May 2011, our School, Miguel de Cervantes, participated in an important event about Bilingual Sections in our province, Toledo.
The Teacher Center invited us to tell our experience with the e-twinning project:

"The goblins of four seasons"

developed during the school year 2009-2010.
So, the old students recorded this beautiful and emotive video, in order to show it and aim to other schools to participate in e-twinning projects.

A interactive tablet for learning

These days in our class came new tools to be used  to study: an interactive tablet connected to a laptop  allows us,  through a projector, to transmit images on a screen. In this way we can use pictures, videos, games, web resources for learning more easy and pleasant. In this video we learn to use the tablet to write our name.
